He nods and starts walking towards the direction of the mansion. He would be lost if it weren’t for his good sense of direction. Anyway, they arrive eventually at the large gates that lead into it. Sighing, Doc grabs a hold of one of the bars and shakes it in an attempt to see if it would move.“Ah….. He locked them again.”
She feels through her hair for a moment, and finds the hairpin she was given by the other Gypsies when she left the camp to hunt down Lucien. It wasn’t until months later that she realized it contained a lock-pick. Aside from the decade on the Spire, she never went without it. You never know when you’ll need to pick a lock, after all.
“I hope I can still do this.”
Doc could easily open the gates using some type of magic, sure, but he would rather not show anyone he had such abilities after Reaver took such a liking to Doc when he found out he had them. Doc crosses him arms and sighs, leaning against a tree nearby. Honestly he didn’t care what she did to Reaver as long as Doc could get some rest afterwards, he was exhausted.
